Gerald Haynes and Christophe Baeté from Elsyca have collaborated with Tyson Manning and Lance Barton from Structural Integrity Associates. They wrote a paper 'Variances in Pipeline AC Interference Computational Modeling', where they describe how to validate the importance of accurate soil resistivity data along the AC interference collocation. For their computational model, they studied a 1-in (2.54-cm) pipeline, with a 0.25-in (0.64-cm) wall thickness, buried at a depth of 4 ft (1.22m). For their computational model, they studied a pipeline in collocation with 8 HVAC powerlines.
