Agnieszka explains how to use a computer aided engineering approach for a quick validation of the electroplating process performance on geometrically complex parts in terms of a metal layer thickness distribution. She also demonstrates how to use exactly the same approach for the mitigation of all recognized over and underplated surface areas with a dedicated tooling concept.
The purpose of this tooling concept is to improve the control over the quality of the deposited metallic layers in real time which means having control over the whole process.
